Nicola Gryczka Kirsch is a systems entrepreneur, facilitator and storyteller working to make hospitality and Gastronomy a force for regeneration. As Co-founder and Chief Weaving Officer of Regenopolis, she brings together people, knowledge, capital, and place to unlock collective potential and create pathways towards a more regenerative future. 

Her work draws on more than 20 years of experience across industries, cultures, and very different levels of intervention: from global institutions and corporate leadership to community education, employment inclusion, and place-based regeneration. Through her roles at the World Economic Forum, she contributed to international dialogue and policy discussions in Latin America. She has also worked directly with underserved communities across the region, founded a series of social-innovation initiatives, and supported businesses and destinations in rethinking their relationship with people and place. 

Nicola co-founded and orchsterated the Social Gastronomy Movement, building a global impact network of chefs, social entrepreneurs, educators, and community leaders who use food to create dignity and opportunity. She also served as CEO of Gastromotiva, working at the intersection of hospitality education and pathways into employment. 

In recent years, Nicola’s work has increasingly focused on regenerative hospitality and travel. She helps organizations move beyond reducing harm to understand how they can actively strengthen the living systems of which they are part. This work led her to co-found Regenopolis with Diane Binder. 

Nicola is Entrepreneur in Residence at EHL Hospitality Business School, where her work spans research, teaching and the creation of new platforms for dialogue and collaboration. She holds a bachelor’s degree in Hospitality Management from EHL, a master’s degree in policymaking from the Geneva Graduate Institute, and an MBA from Fundação Dom Cabral in Brazil. She is also a certified regenerative practitioner through the Regenesis Institute for Regenerative Practice.
